United StatesHair does not slide off the barrel
While I love the functionality of beachwaver, I do not like whatever the textured coating is on these floral models. My hair does not slide off of these. You have to very carefully unwind and make sure none of your hair sticks. If you just try to slide the barrel out of the curl after you release the clamp, your hair drags and doesn't slide off.

I love the rotating curling iron! I have super thick and long hair and you can imagine the time it takes to curl my hair. Well on top of that, I have arthritis in my wrists from having Psoriasis so there are many times that it is difficult to curl my hair or finish it. Having the rotating curling iron makes curling my hair so much easier.
