I opened it first thing when it arrived and... OMG! never have I ever had anything that made curling my hair so easy. Blown away! Don't think twice, you won't regret it. I own a ton of different styling tools, including Dyson Airwrap, but if you want beautiful and even curls, you need THIS. I got the 1'25 barrel and 1' for my very thick long hair and tried to 1'25 first. It heats up to 410F so it's HOT. Amazing results!

The iron (Flower Power 1.25 barrel) I got is defective as it will not stay on. I understand it will auto shut-off after half an hour which is what it appeared to do, I wasn't timing it but I did my daughter's hair then mine (so I assume it was over the 30 minute mark) and it just shut off. I tried powering it back on and it wouldn't stay on. I gave it a few days and tried again. This time, it wouldn't stay on longer than a few minutes. I would turn it back on and I would get one strand done and it would shut off again. I was not able to complete the curl on my hair as it was too frustrating to keep turning it on every time it would shut off. I have returned it for a warranty replacement so we'll what happens. I was not accidentally hitting the power button either, at first I thought that could be the reason but I quickly verified that my palm is no where near the power button when I was using the iron.
