Disneyland is a great place to get away and spend quality time with family and friends. I love wearing my minnie ears, trying to do something new each trip (I tried the seasonal Cheddar Cheese Ale soup at the Pacific Wharf), and planning silly poses for the ride photos.
Like any other event, getting ready is part of the fun! Since it was going to be a sunny day, I did not want to take any chances of having hair issues (Frizzy hair alert!). I wore my hair in my wrap up and kept a few strands hanging in the front.
Not to show off, but I have many pairs of minnie ears (How can anyone resist buying them?!) After the final touches on my wrap up bun, I threw my polka dot minnie cap on and left my house to enjoy a day at the happiest place on earth.
I could not be more happy with my wrap up! It stayed in place throughout the day and endured California Screamin’, the Matterhorn and lots of running around with my little cousins. Keeping in mind that my hair is thick and curly and sometimes hard to manage so that is why the wrap up is getting the highest praise from me.
Toward the end of the day, I needed to touch up on makeup and hair. My touch up ended up turning into a tutorial on how to use the wrap up! I was showing my cousin how to use it and a woman at another mirror started watching. It was so great to spread the word in that way!
I took pictures at my favorite spots at Disneyland and California Adventure. The first one is at the Sleeping Beauty castle because she is my favorite princess! My second favorite place is the Pacific Wharf, because of the yummy bread bowls. Where will my wrap up bun go next?!
