Pretty Little Beachwaves

Australian-born Glenn Nutley, is an internationally acclaimed hair and make up artist, who recently styled the gorgeous Janel Parrish for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards with the BEACHWAVER® PRO! Janel, who plays Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars was nominated for best TV Villian. Pretty Little Liars took the award home for best TV show in the drama category.
She looked AMAZING! She was styled by Fashion Stylist Adeel Khan and wore a Contrarian New York two piece ensemble. Her stunning bracelets are by XIV Karats. We especially love her simple white painted nails! The beachwaves really completed her whole red carpet look. (Images from Just Jared)

Ali Larter: Textured Effortless Style

I am excited for all the new television shows for the fall including TNT's new show Legends starring the amazing Ali Larter. This past week I styled her premiere using my ceramic styling iron to create a very textured and edgy effortless style. Her stunning makeup was by Hung Vanngo. Her cool earrings are by Lorraine Schwartz  and her dress is by Naeem Khan

Ali also visited The Today Show to share about her new show and to share her recipe for blueberry crumble from her new cookbook, "Kitchen Revelry." I styled her hair by giving her a simple blow out and added some volume. Her makeup is by the wonderful Daniel Martin.

Photoshoot: New York Jets Flight Crew

I recently had the pleasure to work on a shoot with the New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders. I always have such a great time when I get to work with the team. They are all so sweet and have amazing hair. The look for the shoot was my favorite, big beautiful beachwaved curls! Check the Jets Flight Crew site to see how their photos turn out and to meet the crew!

Molly Sims: Beachwaves & Braids

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of styling Molly Sims hair with the Beachwaver. We had a great time and she fell in love with it! So much so, that she is wrote about it on her blog and called it her "Curling Iron Obsession!" It is so great to help teach how to get beautiful beach waves in only a few minutes. The only other thing Molly and I like just as much as pretty Beachwaves, are braids. I was so excited when she asked me to share some easy braid hairstyles. Check out a two strand braid and fishtail braid crown tutorial on her blog!

Past Grammy Glam

The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards are this Sunday, January 26th. So, naturally all of us girls here at SP, Inc. were reflecting on our favorite past looks. Take a peek! We’re excited to see who stuns on the red carpet this year!

The 2013 GRAMMY Awards housed a lot of our favorites. Rihanna‘s gorgeous beachwaves, Taylor Swift’s soft and playful braided crown, Solange Knowles‘ au natural curls, and Florence Welch’s sweet low bun with textured pieces. Alicia Keys’ upside down french braid into a bouffant stunned at the 2012 Award show. Last but not least, the late Whitney Houston at the 1986 Grammy Awards where she took home her first Grammy for “Saving All My Love for You.”  Whitney’s hair was just as timeless as she was. Come back on Monday for a re-cap of our 2014 favorites!

Alicia Keys: SUNDANCE 2013

Sarah had the pleasure of styling the fabulous Alicia Keys at Sundance Film Festival.  Ms. Keys was in Park City, Utah debuting her first film “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,” as executive producer and composer. The film revolves around two kids from Brooklyn, who fend for themselves over a summer after being put through a variety of obstacles. Scripted by Michael Starrbury and debuting the young and talented Skylan Brooks playing the son of Jennifer Hudson, this movie is sure to move you.
