Step 1. Create a deep, side part. Next, separate the hair into three sections—left, right and back—and secure with Darby Clips.

Step 2. Using the Beachwaver® S1.25 in a horizontal position, curl 1-inch sections, rolling each section under. Hold in place for 3 to 5 seconds and release. 

Step 3. Put your finger through the center of the curl, and roll the curl under until it’s touching the root. Lift and secure at the base with a duckbill clip to create on-base curls.

Step 4. Repeat until you’ve created a complete roller set, and allow to cool, then remove the clips. 

Step 5. Spray a Beachwaver® On Set Pro Brush with a flexible hairspray, and brush through the curls in large sections (like you would brush a ponytail), working all the way through the ends.

Step 6. Finish with a flexible hairspray.
