Born in England, she moved to the U.S. in 1983, initially pursuing a legal career before transitioning into sales and marketing. Her tenure at Revlon, where she worked for over a decade, provided her with invaluable industry experience. In 1999, she founded PRAI Beauty in New Canaan, Connecticut, aiming to address the skincare needs of women over 50, a demographic often overlooked by the beauty industry.
